The Rocky Horror Picture Show at Theatre Royal Brighton

Why see The Rocky Horror Picture Show?

Great Scott!

Oh Jason! That's right, 80s soap and musical theatre legend Jason Donovan* is donning the corset and fishnets of Dr. Frank'N'Furter and stepping onto the stage in this limited run of Richard O'Brein's The Rocky Horror Show!

A true cult classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is the story of Brad and Janet, two recently engaged college kids who head off on a road trip to bring the happy news to their former professor. But when they get a flat tire outside of the enigmatic Dr Frank-n-Furter's gothic castle, it looks like this squeaky clean couple are in for a night they'll never forget!

It's Just A Jump To The Left

First running all the way back in 1973, Rocky Horror is an affectionate parody of Sci-Fi and horror B movies of the 1950s, featuring hilarious and catchy songs such as the dance-tastic 'Time Warp', 'Sweet Transvestite' and many more. Premiering at the Royal Court Theatre (Upstairs) the original London run lasted seven years and spawned numerous worldwide productions and the beloved movie starring Tim Curry, Patricia Quinn, Susan Sarandon and Meatloaf alongside creator Richard O'Brien himself.

*Please note, Jason Donovan is not set to appear at the Woking dates, casting is to be announced.

Rocky Horror

Every second is an absolute delight. The acting and singing top class. The energy never drops. There's no weakness in the cast at all. The live music is so good you forget it is live! I can't compare to other versions as I'm a Rocky virgin, but I know this was top-class entertainment. I would happily watch it again and there's loads of people I would drag along. ... Read more
