Went to evening show on 1 March with grown-up daughter and nieces. Oh my word, what an incredible production. Every performance was perfect, from the singing to dancing to costumes to lighting to sets and sound! Such an uplifting and joyful experience from start to finish. The company got a total standing ovation and so deserved it. They seemed to be having as much fun as the audience - who positively fizzed as they spilled out afterwards. Huge congratulations to everyone involved in this production and thankyou so much...what a glorious, fun and happy experience. Xxx

Loved this from start to finish. A real feel good show with a superbly talented cast, each and every one of them.

Went to see hairspray last night in liverpool empire it was full off dancing and the story line was just like the film.only thing I was disappointed with was the songs I only knew 1 or 2 of them,they didn't do the "mash potato", and they didn't sing" hairspray mummy told me not to use it".wouldn't watch it again.actually my teenage daughter was abit bored
