What Is The Story of Hairspray?
Uplifting and instantly catchy songs like 'You Can't Stop The Beat', 'I Can Hear The Bells', and 'Good Morning Baltimore', punctuate a coming-of-age story as bold and big as its character's hairstyles. Curvy teenager Tracy Turnblad shakes up the status quo when she auditions for a regular spot on The Corny Collins Show and wins. Becoming an overnight sensation and relatable role model, she sees beyond the trendsetting and sets out on a path to bring racial integration to the popular variety show.

Totally brilliant!
Went to evening show on 1 March with grown-up daughter and nieces. Oh my word, what an incredible production. Every performance was perfect, from the singing to dancing to costumes to lighting to sets and sound! Such an uplifting and joyful experience from start to finish. The company got a total standing ovation and so deserved it. They seemed to be having as much fun as the audience - who positively fizzed as they spilled out afterwards.
